With the new curriculum being put in place from September 2019, Widden is reviewing and developing the structure and content of the school curriculum. English, Maths and Science are considered the core subjects and the foundation subjects are: History, Geography, Religious Education, Computing, Modern Foreign Languages, Music, Art and Design Technology and Physical Education.

Government documentation says the following:
All schools should make provision for personal, social, health and economic education (PSHE). Schools are also free to include other subjects or topics of their choice in planning and designing their own programme of education.
From September 2020, the revised curriculum subjects will be:
- relationships education (primary)
- health education (primary and secondary)
Widden has created their own PHSE programme of study using the F.R.E.E. values.
