Welcome to Reception! Our Reception classes are Murphy Class with Mrs Marshall and Mrs Wathen and Donaldson Class with Miss Hemming.
This term we will be exploring the topic 'People who help us', where through our literacy sessions we will explore stories based on the people who help us in our day to day lives e.g. 'Real superheroes' and 'What will I be?' We will also be continuing the 'Big Brush Club', to promote good oral hygiene.
We look forward to the new term and creating maps for our walk to Asda. We will also be getting outside for plenty of fresh air, so please equip your child with a sun hat and sunscreen on sunnier days.
PE days will remain as Tuesdays for Donaldson and Thursdays for Murphy class.
PE Days and Forest School
Donaldson PE day is Tuesday.
Murphy PE day is Thursday.
Please can children come to school on PE days dressed in suitable PE clothes e.g. black leggings black jogging bottoms and a plain white t-shirt.
This term, we will be focusing on ball skills.
Please send your child a pair of wellington boots to wear during our Forest School sessions.
