What Maths looks like in KS2

We are currently reviewing our Maths curriculum and are writing a bespoke learning sequence that is specific to our children at Widden. This curriculum will give children a chance to revisit knowledge and skills that they have previously gained earlier in the year and consolidate their learning.

Below are the overviews for the year groups in KS2 for Term 5, the objectives are taken from the statutory requirements in the National Curriculum. Our teachers will be using White Rose Maths as a supplement for delivery, whilst implementing an I, We, You approach to problem solving and reasoning questions.
