PSHE/RSE
At Widden, our school values: integrity, diversity and community are paramount to the PSHE curriculum. The intent of the PSHE curriculum is to spread awareness of our school values and promote how they can be entwined with our everyday lives beyond school. We enable our children to become independent, confident, healthy and responsible members of our school and community through our PSHE learning and develop our children intellectually, morally, socially and spiritually; it is our belief that the skills, personal attributes and knowledge they will gain in these areas will lead to excellence across the curriculum.
Our PSHE curriculum is inclusive and ensures that all children can thrive. This is done by use of rich discussions/debates, pictures, elements of drawing and providing opportunity for children to express their creative side and know that their voices will be heard.
