Special Educational Needs
Here at Widden we are totally inclusive and welcome all children. We teach all children the values of friendship, respect, excellence and equality through our unique FREE programme.
Where a child has a recognised special need or disability, we will make reasonable adjustments to meet those needs to ensure your child thrives in our mainstream setting. Our school is fully accessible and whilst supporting our children we will also encourage independence skills.
Your child’s Class Teacher and the school’s Inclusion Manager (Mrs Jones) are your key points of contact to discuss your child’s needs.
Please read the School Offer leaflet below that tells you more about what we can do for your child or you can read the whole school policy which is also saved below.
Our Accessibility Action Plan below shows how we are continuing to make sure that we are improving the facilities in the school to make sure that we are accessible to all children, regardless of their disabilities.
If you would like to discuss SEND at Widden Primary School then please contact our Inclusion Manager via email at Heather.Jones@widden.gloucs.sch.uk or by arranging an appointment via the school office on 01452 520 571
